House Renovations Continue!
The 2024/2025 academic year was a big one for 77 Elm! After several years of limited spending (due to lingering effects of COVID lockdown and low residency), some of the best residency numbers and amazing support from alumni, in addition to a determined driving force to whip the house into shape, we were able to invest a significant amount of time and money into the house. In all we spent over $19,000 in improvements. I want to send out a huge thank you to all who contributed last year, and also to the alumni and undergrads that participated in several work sessions organized by Ross Williamson.
But we are not done yet! While we were able to tackle many sorely needed items, we still have much to do. Our goal as always is to provide a safe and attractive house that will attract not only residents (with parent approval!) but also be a valuable asset to attract new members. And of course we want the house to be something that alumni can be proud to bring their families to when they return to Potsdam for reunions.
This last point will be especially true as we make plans to gather at the house in July for the chapter’s 70th anniversary!

Current Project List and Donors
As they did last year, the Asset Management Committee has developed a prioritized list of projects organized by priority. There are necessity projects, secondary projects, and wish list items. Each of the lists is included below, with estimated (or actual) costs and status. Donors that have contributed to a specific project are listed as well.
If there is a particular project that resonates with you and you would like to contribute to that specifically, let us know. Otherwise any donations will be directed to the general fund.
